These rules explain CharmEngine accounts, CharmCanvas creation, API use, Discord extras, Charm Tokens, top-ups, usage limits, and approvals in plain language.
What Charm Tokens are
Charm Tokens are the simple customer allowance for paid AI work. They are used for scans, CharmCanvas media, campaign assets, publishing help, reports, Discord extras, API use, storage actions, and premium media.
How usage is charged
Included monthly Charm Tokens are used first. Purchased tokens are used next. Extra monthly spend only happens if you switch on a cap and approve it.
CharmCanvas media
CharmCanvas may use approved image, video, audio, and text providers. The estimate is shown before a paid render. Failed work is not charged as a full success unless a provider cost was clearly incurred.
Usage limits
CharmEngine may slow, review, ask for approval, use a lower-cost path, or decline actions to protect customers, platforms, supplier accounts, legal duties, and spend caps.
When approval is needed
Publishing, ads, Discord announcements, admin actions, high-cost media, and sensitive actions may ask for human approval before anything happens.
Extra spend
Extra monthly spend is off by default. If you turn it on, you set a limit. When the limit is reached, paid actions pause until you top up, upgrade, or approve more.
